NEW HYBRYDS LIVE PROJECT : DREAMBIANT : etnical / ambient : POLAND 15 july 06 with live female vocals from Schattenkinder and musical live support from Morbid Butcher.
2 years ago I had a wonderful time in Gorlice, Poland.
This time I would go with a complete band and our new project, "DREAMBIANT" (we tried it out in Paris,)
The last years performing solo, made me a great fan from bus and traintravels. But performing with a band means back as in the old days: by car!
Lucky technology in this century is cheap and easy to use. I bought myself a GPS, loaded with all the maps of Europe (hmm).
I love this little bastard,although I shut down his annoying voice. He became my best friend, this stuff will save marriages! It gives you a save feeling, shows you if the next turn is sharp or soft, you see all the stuff miles around you, gives you the feeling of flying or beeing god.
We left Germany at Finsterwalden, driving GPS monitored to Poland to find to our surprice one big new highway straight to Krakow. It took us only a few hours to drive 500 km. ( Thank you Europian community). However in Tarnow the world ended, I mean the GPS turned blank. Lucky outside the world still existed and a prehistoric paper map helped us to Gorlice.
The guesthouse was marvelous, hollywood style; the Polish hospitality disastrous. Vodka and beer.I plead guilty, this was the first time in my life I performed with a hangover...but I was not the only one , Thadeus, organizer and sound mixer, recorded our gig, lots of silence, sometimes only vocals, sometimes noise, but the last 3 minutes were recorded perfectly.
